Hay's End

A self catering, one bedroom, holiday apartment.

This attractive, secluded apartment occupies the ground floor of a wing of Lime Tree House, which is a beautiful, grade II listed village house.

Hay’s End has its own separate entrance and is approached through a pretty walled garden which is private to the apartment.

The accommodation consists of a large sitting/kitchen/dining room. This room has a large open inglenook fireplace with a woodburning stove, TV, sofa and armchair. It also contains a corner kitchenette with a full sized oven, hob cooking, microwave and fridge.

The bedroom, approached off a small hallway, has a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

The shower room is spacious with a separate W.C. and a washing machine.

The apartment is quiet and entirely within a garden setting.

There is private parking in the yard. Secure cycle storage is available.

A basket of logs is included with every letting and subsequent baskets cost £3.50 each. In the winter central heating is supplied from 7am-10am and 5pm-10pm.

There is plentiful hot-water.

Linen is available at a cost of £7.50 per booking.

The apartment is available for booking by the week, or, at certain times of the year, by the day. Minimum booking period is three days.

  • November-March £35 per night
  • April-June £45 per night
  • July-October £55 per night
  • A 15% deposit is required with every booking and is non-returnable if cancelled with less than a weeks notice. The balance is due on arrival.

    The apartment offers a wonderful base for exploring the Suffolk countryside and the heritage coast. Nearby is RSPB Minsmere and also the famous Britten/Pears concert hall at Snape Maltings. Aldeburgh is about five miles away and Thorpeness 7. Walberswick and Southwold are within 15 miles. There are good local walks from the doorstep.
